Please review all photos and note crack in the "stem" handle. This is still very sturdy and covered with glaze, so I am not concerned at all about it breaking. It is purely visual, and even brings more of an authentic pumpkin stem feel! The lid's rim is a tad bit warped and does not rest completely flush with the base, so it may rattle a bit when it's moved.
This dish is for baking bread in your oven as well as storing your bread for days after. It was wheel thrown glazed, and fired in my home studio.
This dish is made of a stoneware clay and fired to roughly 2100 degrees F, ideal for baking typical bread baking temps (450 degrees F.). IT MUST BE PRE-HEATED as you normally would for any other baking vessel. Care instructions come with each order. Lead-free and food safe products used.
